Our Pastor
Pastor Monte Barlow
Monte is from Oklahoma in the United States. After high school, he attended Oklahoma State University studying Electrical Engineering and after finishing school worked in the military equipment industry for 18 years.
During a conference about foreign missions in 1997, he became impressed with a new direction for his and his family's life. He then attended Heartland Baptist Bible College earning a degree in Biblical Studies in 2001. He and his family then completed an internship in Brazil, pastoring a church in the city of Porto Velho.

That direction for missions became clear when Monte heard about Slovenia.
Monte, along with his wife Krista, and all four of their children, moved to Slovenia from the United States in 2009.

His passion
Regardless of his many interests in the outdoors, his true passion is communicating the deep truths of God's Word in either a group setting or one-on-one. If you have questions about religion, philosophy, science or other typical distractions from a true relationship with God through Jesus Christ, he would be thrilled to sit down with you and talk about it.
